SN100C RX18 Lead Free no clean flux core solder wire was developed to provide excellent soldering results with all alloys and surface finishes. Engineered for robotic soldering, RX18 promotes thermal transfer, fast wetting and rapid solder penetration into plated through holes or surface mount interconnections. RX18 specialized packaging ensures consistent, accurate, jam-free wire feeding. RX18 post solder residues are minimal, clear and pass IPC-004A and IPC-004B SIR and corrosion requirements and do not require cleaning.

RX18 can be cleaned with commercially available flux removers. IPA is not recommended. If cleaning is required to meet an IPC class standard RMA flux residues are best cleaned with Chemtools solvent based flux removers.

SN100C is a lead-free silver-free solder alloy developed by Nihon Superior in Japan. AIM Solder is a licenced manufacturer of Nihon Superiors SN100C alloy. SN100C offers user-friendly properties and has been proven in commercial applications since 1999. The inclusion of nickel reduces copper dissolution and produces a bright shiny solder fillet.
